Betrayers

In my acrylic painting “The Betrayers”, I aimed to capture a profound sense of betrayal and melancholy. The diffuse and dark tones enhance the somber atmosphere, conveying despair and treachery. The two figures, rendered in muted browns and blacks, stand side by side with solemn and distant expressions. Their elongated necks give them an almost surreal, otherworldly quality, emphasizing a transformation resulting from their betrayal. The dark, earthy colors and hazy background add to the overall feeling of disorientation and unease. Through this piece, I wanted to reinforce the theme of treachery and evoke a world stripped of joy and trust.
